Safes
What is a Safe.
Some refer to a Safe as a miniature Vault others have called it Strong Box, Kist or coffer. Despite the different names associated with Safes the purpose remained the same, to create a security box that locks from the inside to secure valuables. The unexposed locking system was created to cause extreme difficulty when trying to penetrate the safe with forced entry methods. The thick walls made from steel, concrete and other materials like perlite or vermiculite were meant to resist burglary and other hazardous conditions such as a fire. There are many forms of security boxes that act to replicate the workings of a safe but are less secure such as a money box which is used to store money usually in a retail store. The inside of a Safe is hollow for storage with a removable door.
